THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEHRAN PLANS FOR 50 HOURS OF PRE-MARRIAGE EDUCATION
The head for the Health and Hygiene of Tehran's City Council, Masoumeh Abad, announced that Tehran's City Council has planned for a 50 hours of pre-marriage education for young couples stating that: "we hope that such programs would make new families less venerable".
Masoumeh Abad referred to young couples' problems adding that: "most of the problems young couples face is lack of knowledge and skills which are necessary for healthy and happy families. This has made our experts to provide educational packages for young couples to learn communicative skills, economic and emotional managements".
Abad said: "for preparing such packages we consulted with different experts and came to this conclusion that 50 hours of pre-marriage education is good for the couples". The City Council is planning for more programs for Iranian younger generation as they make up the largest part of Tehran's population.
